Alfie Plot
Alfie is a 2004 American-British comedy romance film starring Jude Law as
the title character. It is written and directed by Charles Shyer and a
remake of the 1966 film of the same name starring Michael Caine.
The 2004 version of Alfie takes place in New York City, rather than in
London, where the original 1966 film took place.
The music score was composed by Rolling Stone Mick Jagger, former Eurythmic
Dave Stewart, and John Powell, featuring 13 original songs and a remake of
the original 1966 title song.
The film was a major box office flop and has not made back its original
budget. It was voted by the British "Blockbuster" Magazine one of the worst
remakes of all time.
A Cockney womanizer learns the hard way about the consequences of his
actions.
