A Lot
Like Love Plot
A Lot Like Love is a 2005 drama/romantic comedy film, directed by Nigel
Cole.
The film was on the 2005 list of Roger Ebert's most hated films.
The film centres on the relationship between Oliver (played by Kutcher) and
Emily (played by Peet), who first met on a flight from Los Angeles to New
York seven years ago, only to decide that they were poorly suited together.
Over the next seven years they keep meeting each other, becoming
acquaintances and then close friends; going through different partners and
careers at the same time.
With each of them suffering through one failed relationship after another,
they finally figure out after seven years that they might be right for each
other after all.
Tagline: There's nothing better than a great romance... to ruin a perfectly
good friendship.
