3 Strikes Plot

3 Strikes is a 2000 urban comedy film that was written and directed by DJ Pooh. It stars Brian Hooks as Rob Douglas, an African American male that is just released from jail. The state of California adopts a rule of "3 strikes" for felons, that have serious penalties for the third offense. Rob has 2 strikes, and wants to start out clean as he is released from jail. However, after a friend drives him away from the jail, they get pulled over by the police because the car they are riding in is stolen not to mention they are smoking a joint. His friend shoots at the officer and he gets shot (in the buttocks). But Rob is able to escape. So Rob is a wanted man again.
