Santa Singh was getting married. However he did not have a good set of clothes. Although he did have a good Silk Kurta there was no matching Pyjama. He mentioned this to his best friend Banta Singh. Banta agreed to lend his own silk pyjama to Santa. Santa was worried, "What if someone finds out the pyjama I'm wearing is not mine but yours?
Banta replies, "Don't worry, no one will find out!"
On the day of marriage Santa wears the silk kurta & pyjama. During the Barat some bystander asked Banta, "Banta Singh, who is the bridegroom?" And Banta points to Santa standing next to him and says, "This is the bridegroom! Inkee apnee silk ki pagdi hai. Apna silk ka kurta hai. Par pyjama mera hai!"
Santa was a bit annoyed. After they have moved away he said to Banta, "Why are you embarrassing me... there's no need to tell anyone that the pyjama is yours!" Banta, "Sorry Santa, I won't tell anyone that the pyjama is your's!"
Sometime later another person asks Banta, "Where is bridegroom?" Again Banta points out to Santa, "He is right here.. in shining clothes! Inkee apnee Silk ki pagdi hai. Apna silk ka kurta hai. Aur pyajama bhee inka hi hai."
Santa was annoyed and whispered to the Banta, "Are you my enemy?"
Banta Singh, "Why what's wrong? This time I said the pyjama was yours..."
Santa Singh, "Oye khotte de puttar! The way you are referring to my pyjama, everyone will think that the pyjama is definitely not mine! Ab pyjame ka koi jikar nahin karna!"
After sometime another guy asks Banta, "Who is the bridegroom?" Banta points to Santa and says, "This is the bridegroom! Inkee apnee silk ki pagdi hai. Apna silk ka kurta hai. Aur pyajama ka koi jikar nahin karanga!"
